Anyone with an office (or the room where you are going to put it) done in the lighter woods like pine or beachwood should not buy this desk. The Black or Chocolate finish, though beautiful, will look out of place among lighter woods or an antique décor.
If you have an exceedingly large computer, in either monitor or tower, then this is probably not your desk. Also, if you have many books you would like to store, you will need a desk with dedicated storage shelves, since stacking them next to the monitor will make it look cluttered.
